If you are visiting this page as an existing Friend, Welcome. If you are visiting as a new potential Friend, that’s great and we are very pleased you are interested. As you probably know, during the last 12 months, since Cornwall Council suggested possible closure, much work has been going on and we are now approaching a critical phase when clear evidence of local support will be vital to secure the future of the Leisure Centre. We are now very anxious to secure a significant uplift in our number of Friends and it is important that you join us if you are keen to see a future for the Centre and further information will appear here in due course.

Although local support is valuable, it really doesn’t matter where you live as you may well still wish to support this facility for use during holidays or because you have a holiday home in the area or for any other reason. We also wish to encourage as many businesses to support us as possible since the continuing use of the Centre could do a lot to encourage more business activities.

Membership of the Friends carries no responsibility, either in money or activity, we are happy just to have you on our members list but, of course, any help you can offer will be very welcome. We look forward to hearing from you and if you wish to discuss any aspect of Friends membership do get in touch.
